Rolling Meadows Animal Hospital was opened in March 1986 by Randy Huenefeld DVM and Kathy Hunefeld DVM.  It is a companion animal practice offering full veterinary services for small animal and equine including TCVM and Veterinary Chiropractic care.

A graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985.  Dr. Randy provides the Equine care and all complementary medicine (chiropractic and acupuncture) for Small Animal and Equine.  

Dr. Huenefeld's postgraduate studies and certifications in complementary medicine include:  

   Certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association

He has completed advanced equine training at the CHI Institue and advanced course work in veterinary chiropractic.  In addition to complementary medicine, his equine work includes reproductive work and equine dentistry along with all areas of general practice.

Dr. Huenefeld assists in training new veterinary chiropractic students  by  acting as a veterinary chiropractic lab instructor at OPTIONS FOR ANIMALS.  He also acts an examiner for the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association when that organization certifies in the US.

Dr. Huenefeld is licensed in Kansas and Missouri.  The hospital is located south of Kansas City in Adrian, MO.

KATHY HUENEFELD  DVM  BS Ag

A graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985.  Dr. Kathy provides all the Small Animal Western Veterinary Care including medicine, surgery and general dentistry.  She also provides Class IV Therapeutic Laser treatments in the Small Animal Hospital.

In addition to yearly seminars to keep up on new advances in Small Animal practice, she has completed added training in  laser surgery, therapeutic laser treatment and pain management. She is a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.
